Oracle BI 11g R1: New Features Bootcamp: This course provides step-by-step instructions for learning the new capabilities of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g. This course assumes the student is familiar with OBIEE 10g and has developed within OBIEE before. Students will first use the Oracle BI Administration Tool to build, manage and maintain an Oracle BI Repository. Students import schemas, design and build logical business models. Students then learn how to build Oracle BI dashboards using pivot tables, maps, graphs, gauges, navigation links prompts, embedded content. This course will cover the information that is stored within each subject area (HR, Financials, Projects, Procurement and Spend and Supply Chain). Also, take away a “Data Dictionary” of a mapping from source to target to supply definition of what element within the subject area represents the element within EBS.

Answers (Report/Dashboard Development) Training Class: This course provides step-by-step instructions for creating ad-hoc queries in Oracle Business Intelligence Answers and incorporating them into Interactive Dashboards, which compose business intelligence applications. Learn to build a simple Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard starting with basic requests created in Answers, then add more complexity as the course progresses, including pivot tables, charts, gauges, prompts, embedded content, navigation links, and Oracle BI Publisher reports. Use Oracle BI Delivers to send real-time, personalized alerts to Interactive Dashboards for subscribed users. Oracle BI Publisher Training Class: Oracle BI Publisher (formerly known as XML Publisher) is a revolutionary reporting and document output management solution from Oracle. In this course, participants gain expertise with Oracle BI Publisher 10g R3 (10.1.3.3) by gaining a foundation in the fundamentals, and underlying standards. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to create reports based on various data sources such as Oracle Database, Web Services, RSS feeds, and Files. Oracle BI Publisher can be used as a stand-alone reporting product or integrated with the Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition, and also with Oracle BI Discoverer. So, participants will also learn about these integrations, and be able to create BI Publisher reports based on Oracle BI Server subject area, and Oracle BI Answers. Dimensional Modeling for BI Success: Course Description: This course provides the concepts and techniques to ensure you gain a thorough understanding of dimensional modeling. You will learn practical dimensional modeling techniques covering basic to advanced issues. The goal is for students to gain an in-depth understanding of dimensional modeling so they can confidently apply the concepts in their workplace following the training. This course is a technical course that teaches the beginning and advanced concepts for designing a dimensional Business Intelligence (BI) model for high-performance reporting and analytics solutions geared to utilize the power of Oracle Database engine along with Oracle’s BI Sever.
